How do I publish and schedule a post, reel or story on Facebook and Instagram together?

The steps in the ArabyBot dashboard

1. Start a new post

   In the sidebar open “Social Posting” and press “New post”, or press a day on the calendar.

2. Pick where and what type

   Under “Where to post?” tick Facebook pages and Instagram accounts, or “All Facebook pages” and “All Instagram accounts” at once. Under “Post type” choose a post, reel, story or link carousel (Facebook).

3. Write and add media

   Write the text and add photos and video — Instagram needs a photo or video, and Facebook takes photos only or one video. A story is a vertical photo or video up to 60 seconds, with no text added from here.

4. Add the extras

   Under “Extras”: a “First comment” written under the post as soon as it is published, “Instagram collaborators” up to 3 accounts, image descriptions for the visually impaired, and a “Button on the link” on Facebook. For reels, “Trial reel” tries it on a new audience without showing it to your followers.

5. Publish or schedule

   Under “When?” choose “Post now” or “At a set time” — or a shortcut such as “In an hour” — in your account's time zone, then “Post now” or “Schedule the post”. Follow the status on the calendar: scheduled, published, or failed with the reason.

What you should know

• One post goes to every page and account you picked, each with its own status; if one fails you retry that one alone.
• Comments that arrive under your posts are answered by the bot through comment-reply rules, and the commenter can get a private message.
• Automatic posting from your blog or YouTube channel to your pages is available too. Auto-posting.
