How does the customer pick the delivery day and time window when ordering?
The short answer
In «Delivery time» settings switch on «Customer picks the delivery time», and set the earliest slot (same day or after some days), the last hour for same-day orders, how many days to offer, days with no delivery, and optional windows such as 10-14 with a maximum of orders per window. The customer picks the day and window at checkout, and the slot shows on the order.
The steps in the store panel
- Switch on delivery time
Turn on «Customer picks the delivery time», and choose whether it is required.
- Set the days
«Earliest slot» (same day or after a number of days), the «Last hour for same-day orders» in your store country's time, how many days ahead to show, and days with no delivery.
- Add windows if you like
One window per line such as 10-14 or 16:30-20, and the «Maximum orders per window», or leave it blank if the day is enough.
What you should know
- Days and hours follow your store country's clock, not the server's.
- A full window is not offered to the next customer.
