The short answer

CPA (cost per acquisition) is what advertising costs you to win one order or customer: the ad budget divided by the orders it brought. An ad you spent 3,000 on that brought 50 orders has a CPA of 60 per order.

Why does CPA matter to a seller?

Because it is the number that says whether an ad pays: if the cost per order is more than what an order leaves you, you lose however much you sell. Cheap clicks and views do not mean cheap orders.

CPA in ArabyBot

In ArabyBot every order is tied to the ad or chat it came from, so you see the real cost per order for each ad, not just messages. Orders per ad.

Frequently asked questions

1

What is the difference between CPA and CPC?

CPC is the cost of one click and CPA the cost of one order; a click is not an order.

2

What is a good CPA?

Less than what an order leaves you after product, shipping and returns; it varies with your product and price.

3

Do I count it per message or per order?

Per order; cost per message is useful but does not say whether the ad sold.
