The short answer

A customer who leaves their number on a sold-out product, on the product page or while chatting with the bot, gets one WhatsApp message automatically from your store's number when the product is back on sale. You prepare the message once in «ArabyBot services» → «Notify me when available» with «Prepare the message and switch it on»; it goes to Meta for review as a utility message and runs by itself once approved.

The steps in the store panel

  1. Open ArabyBot services

In the store panel open «ArabyBot services», and make sure «The store's WhatsApp number» is connected; the alert comes from your number.

  2. Prepare the message

In «Notify me when available» press «Prepare the message and switch it on»; it goes to Meta for review as a utility message with no offer in it, usually within minutes.

  3. Follow the requests

You see how many customers are waiting for a product, and when stock returns each gets one alert within minutes. You can stop it with «Switch off automatic notices».

What you should know

  • Each customer gets one alert per request, and nothing goes out if the store is paused, the product hidden or priced on request.
  • Before the message is approved, the requests stay a waiting list you can message yourself.
  • Waiting requests are kept for ninety days.

Related questions

1

Is this a marketing message?

No; it is an alert the customer asked for, with no offer, so it goes as a utility message.

2

Can the bot record a waiting request?

Yes; when a customer asks the bot about a sold-out product, it takes their number for the alert.
