The short answer

In "Marketing" → the "Coupons" tab, fill in "New coupon": the code, the discount type (percent, fixed amount or free shipping) and the value, then optional rules such as a minimum order and an end date, and press "Add". Beside every coupon is "Copy coupon link": whoever opens the link gets the coupon applied automatically, without typing it.

The steps in the store panel

  1. Open Coupons

    In the sidebar open "Marketing", then the "Coupons" tab.

  2. Enter the code and type

    In "New coupon" type the "Code" in English letters and digits, pick the "Type": "Percent %", "Fixed amount" or "Free shipping", then the "Value". A preview of the coupon updates as you type.

  3. Set the limits

    Optionally set a "Minimum order", "Max uses" and "Ends on"; leave the end date empty to keep the coupon running until you stop it.

  4. Add more rules

    Under "More rules (optional)" make it "For a customer's first order only", set "Uses per customer" (counted per WhatsApp number), or limit it to chosen categories or products, then press "Add".

  5. Copy the coupon link

    In the coupon list press "Copy coupon link" and put it in an ad, a WhatsApp status or with an influencer. You can pause any coupon with "Pause" without deleting it.

What you should know

  • When you pick categories or products, the discount is calculated on those products only; with nothing picked, the coupon works on the whole store.
  • The AI seller accepts the store's coupons when it places an order from a chat, and a coupon can ride along in the abandoned-cart reminder.
  • Gift cards live on the same page under "Gift cards": a balance with a value, a code and an expiry date, separate from coupons.
  • For discounts that need no code, such as a cart discount, a countdown flash sale or buy X get Y, use the "Automatic offers" tab.

Can a coupon be limited to the first order?

Yes, tick "For a customer's first order only" under the extra rules. To allow one use per customer, enter 1 in "Uses per customer".
