How does my store become an app on the customer's phone without an app store?

The steps in the store panel

1. Open your store app

   In the store panel open “Your store app”; the icon is made from your logo automatically, or the store name's first letter in its colour if you have no logo.

2. Switch on the visitor invite

   Turn on “Show visitors Install the store app”; it appears from the second page of a visit, never in the cart, checkout or ad pages, and whoever closes it does not see it for two weeks.

3. Send the link to your customers

   Copy your store link from the same page and send it; customers install the app from it.

What you should know

• On Android the customer presses “Install” in the store's message or from Chrome's menu. On iPhone, from Safari: the share button then “Add to Home Screen”, and the store's message tells them the two steps.
• If the internet drops while the app is open, the customer sees a page with your store's name and a “Try again” button instead of the error page, and no old price or cart is kept.
• Android reports each install; iPhone does not, so each opening from the home screen is counted.
• The app works once the store is open to visitors, and you can prepare everything before that.
