How do I pause my ArabyBot Store for a holiday?

The short answer

On "Home" → the "Store link" card press "Pause", add a message for your customers and a return date if you like, then "Pause ordering". Visitors see a designed paused page in your store's colours with your message and return date, order tracking, receipts and invoices keep working, and the store reopens by itself on the morning of the date you set.

The steps in the store panel

  1. Open Home

    In the sidebar open "Home" and scroll to the "Store link" card. The button shows while the store is live.

  2. Press Pause

    Press "Pause" and write in "Message to shoppers (optional)" what visitors should read, such as the reason or an after-holiday offer.

  3. Set the return date

    Pick a date in "Reopen by itself on (optional)" so the store opens automatically that morning, then press "Pause ordering".

  4. To reopen by hand

    In "Settings" → "Shop details" set "Store status" to "Live" and press "Save".

What you should know

  • Visitors see the paused page in your template, colours and logo with one of your pictures, your message, the return date and a way to reach you.
  • Everything about a shopper's own order stays reachable: finishing payment, the thank-you page, order tracking, the receipt, the invoice, rating and their account.
  • As the owner, signed in, you still see the whole store, so you can prepare products and design during the break.
  • The AI seller knows the store is on holiday: it gives customers your message and return date and takes no order.
  • Search engines are told the pause is temporary (a 503 status with a retry time) so they do not treat it as a closure.
