Why this page is different

In Lebanon one customer message may carry three languages on a single line — and a bot that understands only one of them answers a third of the question.

A Lebanese customer may write «Bonjour، قدّيش حقّو؟» on one line, pay on delivery or through Whish and OMT, and usually see the price in dollars. The agent understands all three languages in one sentence and answers in the style you choose, confirms the order before delivery, and the message price comes from Meta's official card.

The WhatsApp Cloud API does not restrict a number's country. The two real conditions are that the number is not active on the WhatsApp app when you register it, and that you hold a Meta Business Manager account. The detail is in our Cloud API explainer.

And you run all of it from your phoneEverything on this page is also run from the ArabyBot mobile app — replies, orders, campaigns and AI reports. Not a web dashboard only.

How the market works in Lebanon

The Lebanese market sells on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, and prices mostly in dollars although the official currency is the pound. Cash on delivery dominates online orders, alongside the Whish wallet and OMT transfers. Customers mix Arabic with French and English, and often write Arabic in Latin letters and numerals.

A conversation as it runs in Lebanon

An illustration written in the Arabizi Lebanese customers type, the way a customer there writes and the agent answers — not a real customer's conversation.

Your store on WhatsApp

Hi, how much is this bag? Is there another colour?

Hi! The bag is $35, in black and beige. Which colour?

Beige — and delivery to Jounieh?

Sure, delivery to Jounieh is $4, cash on delivery or Whish. Send your name, address and number and we confirm the order.

And the mistake to avoid

Before you start in Lebanon

A price in pounds in the reply and in dollars in the post, so the customer asks twice and then leaves. Fix one currency in the agent's information, and make the confirmation before delivery carry the amount in the same currency they will pay at the door.

By your sector

The problem changes completely with what you do — a clinic books appointments and is forbidden from giving medical advice, a store checks live stock and confirms an order.

Frequently asked

Does the bot understand a message mixing Arabic, French and English?

Yes. The agent is a language model that reads «قدّيش حقّو؟», «Bonjour» and «thanks» in one sentence, and answers in the style and language you set in its instructions. On WhatsApp it reads the +961 code and starts in Levantine unless the customer writes otherwise.

And if the customer writes Arabic in Latin letters?

The agent reads Arabic written in Latin letters and numerals, such as «2adde?» and «baddi», the way many Lebanese type it, and answers in Arabic or the style you choose. Test it on ten real messages from your customers before opening it to everyone.

What does a WhatsApp API message to a Lebanese number cost?

A utility or authentication message to a Lebanese number is $0.0091, and a marketing message $0.0392, both from Meta's official card effective 1 October 2026. The price follows the recipient's dialling code, not the merchant's country; replying to whoever wrote first is free for the first 1,000 replies per number each month, then billed at the utility rate. Meta's fees are paid to Meta on your own account, with no markup from us.

How do I pay the subscription from Lebanon?

Prices are shown to a visitor from Lebanon in US dollars and paid by international bank card (Visa or Mastercard). If you have no card that pays in dollars, message us before subscribing and pay nothing until we agree on a way. Meta's WhatsApp fees are separate from the subscription and need a payment method Meta accepts on your own Meta account.
