One platform, a different market habit in each country
The short answer
A "WhatsApp bot" in Riyadh and one in Cairo are not the same product. In Egypt the order is paid on delivery, so it needs confirming before dispatch; in Saudi the store runs on Salla or Zid and pays with mada; in Kuwait the selling itself happens inside an Instagram account.
What follows is not a description of each country — it is what actually changes in the work: the payment method, the store platform, the channel, the dialect, and the currency you are billed in.
Saudi Arabiathe market this page was built for
A Saudi store runs on Salla or Zid, the customer asks on WhatsApp in dialect and pays with mada or Tabby — and a bot translated from English fails at all three.
the UAE
A customer in Dubai may write to you in English in the morning and Arabic at night — and a bot that answers in one language loses half of them.
Kuwait
In Kuwait a customer does not open a website — they comment "how much?" under the post. A platform that cannot answer the comment has lost the sale before it started.
Qatar
When you have fewer customers and each is worth more, an enquiry nobody answered at night is not a number in a report — it is a lost sale.
Bahrain
When delivery is same-day, two hours without a reply is not slowness — it is a whole day gone.
Oman
Shipping from Muscat to Salalah, an unconfirmed order does not cost you one delivery — it costs two and the distance between them.
Egypt
An unconfirmed order ships and comes back — you pay the courier twice and your stock was locked up for a week.
The five markets side by side
There are no ticks in this table — every capability is available in every country. The real question is whether we understand the market, and this is the answer.

Observed market habits, with the currency row read from our own billing configurationmeasured 4 September 2026
These are market habits, not rules. Your customer may well pay another way or sell on another platform — the table says what is typical so you know where to start, and no cell claims a percentage, because shares move and a page quoting a stale one is wrong in public. The currency row is the exception: that is not a habit, it is what our billing actually does.
