How do I auto-reply to Instagram story replies and mentions with ArabyBot?

In ArabyBot a customer's text reply to your Instagram story is treated as a normal message, so the AI agent or your keyword replies answer it. A mention of your account in a customer's story, or a sticker reply with no text, gets a fixed template you write in "Bot Manager" → "Action Buttons". Mentions in posts and comments have their own "Mention Reply" campaign.
The steps in the ArabyBot dashboard
- Open the Instagram bot studio
In the ArabyBot dashboard sidebar open "Instagram Tools" → "Bot Manager"; the Bot Studio opens, and you pick the Instagram account from the page switcher at the top.
- Open the action buttons
In the studio menu choose "Configuration" → "Action Buttons" (system templates). The Instagram template cards are titled in English, including "Story Mention Template" and "Story Private Reply Template".
- Write the story-mention reply
Open "Story Mention Template" and write the message sent to everyone who mentions your account in their story, replacing the default English text "Thanks for mentioning me.", then save.
- Write the reply to story reactions
Open "Story Private Reply Template" and write the message sent to people who reply to your story with a sticker or media and no text, replacing the default "Thanks for your comment on my story."
- Bind the AI agent to the account
A text reply to your story takes the normal message path: keyword replies, then the AI agent. To bind an agent to the account open "AI Hub", press "Deploy" on the agent card, and pick the Instagram account in the Instagram tab.
- Answer mentions in posts and comments
For mentions of your account in a post or comment open "Instagram Tools" → "Comment Manager" → "All Post List", pick the account, then "Mention Reply": a public reply plus a private message template, for everyone or by words you set.
What you should know
- Story automation is Instagram-only; there is no automatic reply to Facebook stories.
- The story-mention reply is a fixed template, with no keywords and no AI, because a mention carries no question.
- A text reply to your story is treated like any private message: it goes through keyword replies, then the AI agent if one is bound to the account.
- The "Mention Reply" campaign in "Comment Manager" has no AI option; it sends one reply to everyone or replies by words you set.
- The Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page connected to ArabyBot with the bot switched on, and you must grant the messages and comments permissions when connecting.
- The Instagram templates also include "Message Unsend Private Reply Template": a reply sent when a customer deletes a message they sent.
