The short answer

In ArabyBot Store a customer signs in with the «Sign in with WhatsApp» button: a ready message with a code appears, they send it to your store's number with one tap, and they are in, with no password and no SMS, at no cost to you. If your store has no WhatsApp number, the customer signs in with a code from ArabyBot's shared number, priced per code from your wallet.

The steps in the store panel

  1. Connect the store's WhatsApp number

In «ArabyBot services» connect «The store's WhatsApp number»; sign-in by message to your number then works on its own, even with the auto-reply off.

  2. Or switch on sign-in by code

If you have no number, press «Turn on sign-in by code» so the customer gets a code from ArabyBot's shared number; the price per code shows on the page.

  3. What the customer sees

They press «Sign in with WhatsApp», see «Send this code on WhatsApp» with the message ready, press send and they are in. Their account has «My orders», «Wishlist» and «My addresses».

What you should know

  • The customer's last address fills in automatically at checkout, so the next order is faster.
  • Loyalty points are used after signing in with WhatsApp.
  • To prevent abuse: a daily cap on each store's codes and an hourly cap per visitor, so your balance is not drained.

Related questions

1

Does WhatsApp sign-in cost me anything?

On your store's number, no; the customer sends the message. A code from ArabyBot's shared number has a price per code from your wallet.

2

Can a customer order without an account?

Yes; the account keeps orders, addresses and the wishlist, and ordering works without it.
