The short answer

Type your business name, VAT number and the invoice's items; the 15% VAT is worked out and a QR code with the five fields the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority requires in phase one is added; then print the invoice or save it as PDF from your browser. Free, with no sign-up, and we keep none of your data.

Phase two is something else

In phase two (integration) the authority obliges the businesses it notifies, in successive waves, to issue their invoices from a solution linked to the Fatoora platform that signs them and sends them to it. This tool does not connect to the authority: it fits a simplified invoice with the phase-one QR, and businesses not yet obliged to integrate.

On ArabyBot Store every order's invoice is issued on its own, with the QR code, once you enter your VAT number, and the phase-two integration is ready and has passed the test environment. The tax invoice and ZATCA in the store

Frequently asked questions

1

What is a simplified tax invoice?

It is the invoice a VAT-registered business issues for a sale to a consumer (business to person). It carries the seller's name and VAT number, the invoice date, the description of the goods or services, the total including VAT and the VAT amount, and a QR code with the fields the authority sets. A sale to another business takes a full «tax invoice» with the buyer's details.

2

What does the invoice's QR code carry?

Five fields in TLV, Base64-encoded, as the authority requires: the seller's name, their VAT number, the time the invoice was issued, the total including VAT and the VAT amount. Any QR reader shows it.

3

Is this invoice enough for phase two (integration)?

No. Phase two obliges the businesses the authority notifies, in successive waves, to issue their invoices from a solution linked to the Fatoora platform. This tool fits a simplified invoice with the phase-one QR, and businesses not yet obliged to integrate. ArabyBot Store has the phase-two integration ready, and it has passed the test environment.

4

How do I write the VAT number?

A Saudi VAT number is 15 digits that start and end with 3, as on the registration certificate. The tool warns you if it is not.

5

Do you keep my invoice data?

No. The invoice is made in your browser. The only thing that reaches us is the QR code's text, to draw it as an image, and we do not keep it.
