The short answer

ArabyBot Store saves each order's source by itself: campaign tags (UTM), the ad click such as fbclid, the site that referred the shopper, the page they landed on, and what first introduced them to the store. You see it on every order in the "Where it came from" card, and grouped by source and campaign in "Reports". To see the exact campaign and ad names, paste the ready tracking tags into your ads.

The steps in the store panel

  1. Copy the tracking tags

In "Marketing" → the "Google & ads" tab, scroll to "Campaign tags"; "Tracking tags for your ads" has a ready tag for Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Google Ads, each with a copy button.

  2. Paste them into the ad

In Facebook and TikTok: the ad → Tracking → URL parameters; in Snap: the ad → Website → URL parameters; in Google Ads, use it as the tracking template. Each platform fills in the campaign, ad set and ad names itself.

  3. See the order source

In "Orders" each order shows its source and campaign. Open an order for the "Where it came from" card: campaign, ad set, ad, ad click, referring site, landing page, and what first introduced the shopper.

  4. Compare sources in reports

In "Reports" read the "Order sources" and "Ad campaigns (utm_campaign)" tables for the period you choose.

What you should know

  • An order is credited to the last visit that came from a source (the last ad or campaign before buying), and the first source that introduced the shopper is kept too; each is valid for 30 days.
  • Ad clicks from Meta (fbclid), TikTok (ttclid), Google (gclid), Snap (ScCid) and Microsoft (msclkid) are recognised even without UTM tags, but campaign and ad names show only with UTM tags.
  • The store's own messages, such as a cart reminder, a back-in-stock notice or an order update, never take the credit from the ad that brought the shopper, and moving around the store or returning from the payment page is not a new source.
  • Orders placed by the AI seller show as the AI agent (WhatsApp) source, and orders entered by hand as "from the panel".

Why does an order say "direct"?

It means the shopper arrived with no campaign tags, ad click or referring site in the last 30 days, such as typing the link or opening it from a copied message. Paste the tracking tags into your ads so campaign and ad names show.
