How do I connect a Shopify or WooCommerce store to ArabyBot to confirm orders?
The short answer
In "Integrations" → "Store Connections" press "Connect a new store" and pick your platform: WooCommerce by approving in your WordPress admin, Shopify through a wizard where you create an app for your store, other platforms from the list, and any other site with an API key. Then open "Manage" and press "Enable" beside "Order confirmation", so the customer gets a WhatsApp message to confirm the order before shipping.
The steps in the ArabyBot dashboard
- Start the connection
In the sidebar open "Store Connections" under "Integrations", press "Connect a new store" and pick your store platform from the list.
- WooCommerce
Choose WooCommerce, type "Your store URL" and a store name, press "Connect", and approve the request in your WordPress admin; the connection keys come back automatically.
- Shopify
Choose Shopify to open the "Connect a Shopify store" wizard: create an app for your store in the Shopify developer dashboard, grant the four listed permissions, release a version and install it, then paste your Shopify store domain, the Client ID and the Client secret and press "Connect store".
- Any other store
Choose "Any other store", type the store name and URL, then "Create the connection & show the code" to get an API key and a webhook URL for your developer to install.
- Switch on order confirmation
Connecting switches nothing on by itself. Press "Manage" on the store card, and under "Store features" press "Enable" beside "Order confirmation", then choose the sending number.
- Set the messages and test
On the settings page switch on "Auto-confirm", set the "Confirmation", "Reminder", "After confirm" and "Follow-ups" tabs, choose under "Order status in your store" what changes on confirm and cancel, then "Test on my number" and "Save all settings".
What you should know
- The first confirmation message is a WhatsApp template Meta must approve, with "Confirm order" and "Inquiry" buttons. A "Cancel order" button can be added to the reminder message, and the customer can also type "cancel".
- What changes in your store: on WooCommerce the order status changes as you choose, on Shopify a confirmed order gets the wa-confirmed tag and a cancelled one is cancelled, and a custom site receives a signed notice at a URL you set.
- You need a WhatsApp number connected to ArabyBot and a package that includes store connections and order confirmation; the number of stores and monthly confirmations follows your package limit.
- The first confirmation message is a utility template, so Meta's template pricing applies to it, while the "After confirm" message goes out inside the 24-hour window with no template.
- The same connection also powers order-status notifications and abandoned-cart recovery, and lets the AI agent read products, stock and order status; each feature is switched on separately.
- In "Advanced settings" you set when the confirmation goes out (at once or after a delay), how long the order waits, and what happens then: just notify you, or cancel the order in your store automatically.

On Shopify yes, the order is cancelled. On WooCommerce the status changes to what you choose for a customer cancel, cancelled by default. A custom site receives the cancel notice for your developer to act on.
Can I connect more than one store?
Yes, up to the number of stores your package allows, and each store has its own confirmation settings and sending number.
