Connecting Zid to WhatsApp — built, opens by agreement
The short answer
The Zid integration is written end to end: catalogue, stock, orders, confirmation, status and abandoned carts. What is left is an agreement between us and Zid — and until that is in place the button stays closed, and we say so.
Zid is a widely used Saudi platform — our side is ready; it opens by agreement with Zid.
If you came here looking for "Connect your Zid store", the answer today is not available yet. The integration itself is written and shipped on our side — catalogue, stock, orders, confirmation, abandoned carts — but opening it to any store needs an agreement between us and Zid, which is not in place yet. We say so in the first line rather than let you find out after you subscribe.
What it actually does
- Written and ready: reading the catalogue and stock, opening an order, reading its status, cancelling it
- Written and ready: order confirmation before dispatch, and abandoned-cart follow-up
- Working today with no integration at all: answering from your own files and knowledge base, in Saudi dialect, including voice notes
- Closed until approval: the "Connect your Zid store" button — it needs an approved Zid app
There is no working "Connect Zid" button today, and that is the exact position rather than a hedge: the integration is written and shipped, but connecting any store needs an agreement between us and Zid first. Until then the bot works on a Zid store from your own files and knowledge base and still takes and confirms orders — without reading your catalogue and stock automatically. The day approval lands, this page is the first thing that changes.
So what can I do today?
- Run the bot on a knowledge base instead of the catalogue
Upload your products and prices — a PDF, a spreadsheet, even pages from your site — and the bot answers "in stock?" and "how much?" from it. The one difference is that stock does not refresh itself, so you re-upload when it changes.
- Take the order inside the conversation
The bot collects the order, the address and the number, confirms it with the customer and lands it in your inbox and in the app — with nothing connected to your store.
- If you need it now, there is another road
If you are on Zid and have a developer, our public API lets you push products and orders yourself today. That is developer work, not a setting in a dashboard — we say so plainly so you know what you are signing up for.
- And tell us you are waiting
The integration is ready on our side; what is left is an agreement with Zid. Send us a line from the contact page and we will tell you the day it opens.

Where to go next
Start without waiting for the integration
The bot will answer your Zid store's customers from your own files starting today, and collect and confirm orders. When the direct integration ships, your account will be ready for it.
