The second way to verify · a platform-run shared number

The verification code on WhatsApp with no number and no Meta account

We offer verification two ways. The first sends from your own WhatsApp Business API number, right for anyone who already holds the number and an approved template. The second is this page: a code from an approved number whose Meta connection we run, so you start sending the same day — one REST call or a ready plugin — and pay only for codes that arrive.

The problem

Why most developers never start WhatsApp verification

The usual route starts with a Meta Business account, then business verification, then a number that cannot run on the ordinary WhatsApp app, then an authentication template submitted and waited on. Four steps before the first code, all sensible for someone sending thousands a day, and unreasonable for a young app or a store that just wants to confirm a customer's number at signup. So they stay on SMS, with its cost, its character limit and its delay. The shared number removes the four steps: we hold the account, the number and the approved template, and you send from day one.

How it works

From signup to the first code in minutes

Create a verification app

In the OTP dashboard pick "shared number" and name your app after your business — the name the customer sees in the code message.

Top up a balance

The balance is prepaid in your currency and the dashboard shows how many codes it buys. There is no monthly subscription for the shared number.

Send from your system

One REST call with the app key, or the WooCommerce or Salla plugin with no code. We generate the code, send it and verify it.

Move to your own number whenever you like

When volume grows and you hold an approved number of your own, the same interface runs on it. Nothing in your system changes.

What you get

What the shared number gives you

Same-day sending

No business verification and no template review. The account, the number and the approved template are ours.

Automatic refund

A code WhatsApp does not deliver is credited back to your balance on its own.

One-tap copy

An official Meta authentication template with a copy button, so the customer does not memorise six digits across two apps.

Caps that protect you

Twenty codes per phone per day and a gap between resends, so nobody drains your balance by hammering resend.

Arabic and English

The code message in the customer's language, under your business name, with an expiry you set.

A log for every code

Status, time and the reason on failure, per number — from the dashboard or the API.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

What does the customer see as the sender?

An approved WhatsApp number run by the platform, and the message carries your business name, the code and the copy button. If you want your own number and verified name to show, that is verification from your own number.

What does a code cost, and what about one that never arrives?

$0.03 per code — 1.5 EGP in Egypt or 0.11 SAR in Saudi Arabia, in your account's currency. A code WhatsApp does not deliver is credited back automatically.

Do I need a developer?

With your own system it is one REST call to send and one to verify. On WooCommerce or Salla the plugin is ready with no code.

And if the customer has no WhatsApp?

The code is not delivered so you are not charged, and the log tells you why. You can then send an SMS from your system as the fallback.

Is there a sending limit?

Twenty codes per phone number per day, and a gap between resends to the same number. The caps protect your balance from abuse and are more than enough for any real signup.
