In “Store visitors” you see who is in the store now, refreshed every ten seconds, and for each visit where it came from, which pages opened, how long the visitor stayed on each and where they stopped, a click map of your pages, and the path from visit to cart to checkout to order. Nothing the visitor types is recorded, nor their number or address.
The steps in the store panel
- Open store visitors
In the store panel open “Store visitors”; at the top, “In the store now” refreshes itself every ten seconds.
- Read the numbers
Visits, distinct and returning visitors, average visit time, pages per visit, who left from the first page, and who ordered.
- Follow the path
“From visit to order”: how many visited, added to cart, reached checkout and ordered; plus where they came from and which devices they use.
- Open a visit or the click map
Open any visit to see its pages, the time on each and where it stopped, or the “Click map” to see where visitors tap on a page.
What you should know
- Nothing the visitor types is recorded, nor their number or address; only pages, taps and time.
- Only the store owner switches recording on or off.
