The short answer
A single-product landing page is where an ad visitor lands to find one product and the order form inside the page — no menu, no cart, no other products. It is built from a headline that promises a result, photos or video, benefits, a quantity offer, real buyer reviews, FAQs, a guarantee and a four-field order form. With cash on delivery it only works fully when each order is confirmed on WhatsApp before shipping, and the ad is told about the purchase at confirmation rather than at the button press.

What is a single-product landing page, and how does it differ from a product page in a store?
A single-product landing page is where an ad visitor is sent: one product, the case for buying it, and the order form — nothing else. No category menu, no similar products, no cart. A product page in a store is part of a catalogue that people browse to compare and choose. The first persuades a visitor who was not looking; the second serves a visitor who came looking.
And a store's product page does things a landing page does not: it lets people compare products, builds a basket of several items, and Google finds it when someone searches the product's name. But a visitor from a Facebook or TikTok ad did not come to browse; they saw one product in a short video and tapped. Every extra link in front of them is an exit, and every step between "I like it" and "I ordered" is a chance to close the page and go back to what they were watching.
| Product page in a store | Single-product landing page | |
|---|---|---|
| The visitor it serves | Someone searching, or who knows your store and browses | Someone who saw an ad for one product and tapped |
| What surrounds it | Menu, categories, similar products, search | Nothing but the product |
| The route to an order | A cart, then a checkout page | A form inside the page itself |
| The words | Description and specifications | A sales case: a promise, benefits, questions, a guarantee |
| What it is good at | Comparison, multi-item baskets, search visibility | Turning a paid visit into an order |
| How it is measured | By the whole store's performance | Ad by ad, and by A/B test |
So neither competes with the other: the store is for people who know you or are searching, the landing page is for the ad. Many merchants run both for the same product — the product page in the store for browsers, and a landing page on its own link for the ads.
What sections does a cash-on-delivery landing page need?
A landing page needs ten sections, in an order that follows the buyer's questions: a headline that promises a result, a line saying who it is for, photos or video showing the product in use, the price with a quantity offer, the order form, then the benefits, real buyer reviews, the common questions, the guarantee, and a last button that returns to the form.
The order is not decoration. Someone arriving from an ad has made half the decision before landing, so do not hide the price and the form behind five screens of benefits; put the form near the top and give the hesitant their reasons below it. Here is a ready outline to copy — the product and the prices in it are hypothetical:
| # | Section | Its job | Example: a water-resistant backpack |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Headline | A promised result in the buyer's words, not the product's name | "A bag that keeps your laptop dry and holds a full workday" |
| 2 | Subheadline | Who it is for, and how they pay | "For students and office workers. Cash on delivery, delivered to every governorate." |
| 3 | Photos and video | The product in use, not only on a white background | A short clip of water poured over the bag, and a photo of what fits inside |
| 4 | Price and quantity offer | A clear price, and a bigger choice that saves | "One for 650 EGP · two for 1,150 EGP" (example) |
| 5 | Order form | Four fields inside the page | Name, phone, governorate, address |
| 6 | Benefits | Three to five, each with its proof | "A padded laptop pocket" with a photo of the pocket |
| 7 | Buyer reviews | From people who actually received it, with names and photos where they exist | Real buyers' reviews — or no section at all |
| 8 | Common questions | What people ask in messages before ordering | Size, delivery time, returns, colours |
| 9 | Guarantee | Your real return policy in one sentence | "If it does not suit you, return it under the policy written in the store" |
| 10 | Last button | Takes the reader back to the form | "Order now — pay on delivery" |
Three rules govern all of the writing: the headline describes what changes for the buyer, not what happens in the factory; every benefit carries its proof — a photo, a measurement, a material — or it is a generic adjective nobody believes; and the questions come from your real messages, because what people ask in DMs is exactly what stops others from ordering in silence.
How many fields does a landing page order form need?
Four fields are enough for a cash-on-delivery order: name, phone number, governorate or region, and address. Every field beyond them — email, postcode, a password for an account — is one more reason for the buyer to stop halfway, and neither the courier nor you need any of them to deliver or confirm the order.
- The phone is the most important field on the page, because the confirmation goes to it. Write "a number with WhatsApp" under it — a number without WhatsApp will not receive the confirmation.
- The governorate from a list, not free text, with each one's shipping fee beside it. The buyer sees the full amount before pressing the button, so there is no surprise at the door — and a surprise at the door is one of the best-known reasons for a refused delivery.
- No account, no password. Ordering as a guest is the default on a landing page; whoever wants an account can make one later.
- The payment choice appears only when there is more than one method. And if you offer online payment, give the buyer a visible reason to use it, such as a small discount for paying upfront.
A short form also attracts fake orders, so protect it with things a real buyer never sees: a cap on orders from the same number in a short time, a hidden field that catches bots, and a record per customer telling you whether this is their first order or whether they have refused a delivery before.
How is a landing page order confirmed before shipping?
Minutes after the order, the buyer gets a WhatsApp message with what they ordered, their address and the amount, and two buttons: confirm or cancel. Only a confirmed order gets a waybill. That way you know, before paying the courier, who ordered seriously, who typed a wrong number and who forgot they ordered.
Hello {{name}} 👋 Your order from {{store}}: {{product}} — {{qty}} — {{amount}} EGP including delivery Address: {{governorate}}, {{address}} Shall we confirm and ship it?
Hi {{name}} 👋 Your order from {{store}}: {{product}} — {{qty}} — {{amount}} SAR including delivery Address: {{city}}, {{address}} Shall we confirm it and send it over?
What confirmation reveals is not what most merchants expect. In a sample we measured on our platform — 11,694 confirmation messages, 98% of them from one store, so read it with that in mind — 5,949 buyers confirmed, 5,683 never answered, and only 61 pressed «cancel». The risk is not the people who cancel; it is the people who go quiet. Confirmation shows you the quiet ones before shipping, not after the parcel comes back.

And what do you do with those who never answer? It depends on your margin: a phone call before shipping, holding the parcel a day, or shipping anyway if your margin can absorb a return. The steps are laid out in the guide to cutting COD returns, and you can price a return with your own numbers in the returns calculator.
The confirmation is a "utility" template that Meta bills per message: about $0.0036 (roughly 0.20 EGP) to an Egyptian number, and about $0.0107 (roughly 0.04 SAR) to a Saudi one, as Meta actually charged us (measured 5 September 2026). Without WhatsApp you confirm by phone or with a button in the orders panel — confirmation is a habit before it is a tool. WhatsApp order confirmation.
How do you track Facebook and TikTok ads from a landing page?
Put the Meta and TikTok pixels on the page, send the same event from the server too (Conversions API and Events API) under one event ID so it is not counted twice, and tell the ad about the purchase when the order is confirmed, not when the button is pressed. The algorithm learns from whoever you tell it bought, and goes looking for more people like them.
Why at confirmation? Because with cash on delivery, an ad that counts every submitted form as a purchase learns to bring people who fill in forms — including the ones who go quiet and the ones who refuse delivery — and brings more of them. Report only the confirmed ones and it learns from real buyers. The price is fewer purchase events, arriving hours after the order when the buyer confirms; a fair price for a cleaner audience. A card payment is a certain purchase the moment it is paid, so it is reported at once.
Give every ad its own link: add source and campaign tags (utm_source and utm_campaign) to the page link, so every order shows which ad it came from, and compare campaigns by confirmed orders rather than clicks. The full tracking picture is in ad attribution and the WhatsApp ads tracking guide.
How do you A/B test a landing page and know which version sells more?
Change one element — usually the headline — and show both versions to the same audience at the same time, half and half, keeping each visitor on their version. Then do not judge before the numbers are enough: a gap of two or three orders on day one is usually chance, not a winner.
- Test the promise before the colours. Two headlines promising different things ("keeps the laptop dry" versus "holds a full workday") teach you what people actually buy; a button colour rarely teaches you anything.
- Measure orders, not clicks — ideally orders that were not cancelled. A version that collects more forms from people who never confirm is not the winner.
- Give the test at least a full week, because Friday buyers are not Sunday buyers, and do not change the ad halfway through.
The same logic applies to testing WhatsApp messages, explained in the WhatsApp A/B testing guide.
Which landing page mistakes lose orders?
Seven cost the most: a long form, a shipping fee that appears at the door, a countdown that restarts itself, invented reviews, a page that does not match the ad, heavy images that slow the phone, and shipping an order before confirming it. Some lose the order now; others lose the buyer's trust for the next one.
- A ten-field form. Delete every field the courier does not need.
- Hidden shipping. "650" and then another 70 at the door means a buyer who feels tricked, and refuses.
- A "offer ends in an hour" countdown that resets on every visit. The buyer notices on the second visit, and with it decides that everything on the page is suspect. An honest countdown belongs to an offer with a real end date that really ends.
- Invented reviews or numbers. "120 people are viewing this now" on a small shop convinces nobody, and fake reviews break ad policies and put the ad account itself at risk. If you have no reviews yet, have no reviews section.
- A page that does not match the ad. If the ad promised a "two-piece" offer and the buyer cannot see it on the first screen, they go back.
- Camera-sized photos. Most ad visitors are on a phone and mobile data; a page slow to open loses them before they see the product.
- Shipping before confirming. The dearest mistake on the list, because you pay for it twice: the parcel out and the parcel back.
The AI draft of a landing page is written under explicit instructions: use only your product's data, and invent no numbers, no reviews and no urgency — and you review it before saving. The guarantee restates the return policy you wrote; if you wrote none, it stays empty. The reviews section shows only approved buyer reviews from your store, and the "someone just bought" popup and the "sold" count are read from real orders. Images are compressed and converted to WebP in three sizes on upload.
How does a landing page work on ArabyBot Store?
Every product in ArabyBot Store has its own landing page at /l/product-name, switched on from the product page, with the order form inside it. The AI writes a first draft of its sections from your product's data, you edit it, and you test its headline in two versions until a winner shows — no developer, no separate tool.
- Prepare the product
Photos and video, sizes and colours if any, the price and the quantity offers. The landing page reads all of this from the product itself, so you never type it twice.
- Switch the landing page on and ask for a draft
The AI writes a headline and a line under it, three to five benefits, three to six common questions, the guarantee from your return policy, and the button text. It runs on the AI provider set up in your account, and you review and edit what it wrote before saving.
- Set the pixels and when to report
The Meta Pixel with the Conversions API, the TikTok Pixel with the Events API, and Snap and Google if you like — and choose whether the purchase is reported at the order or at confirmation.
- Copy one link per ad
The same link with a different source and campaign tag for each ad, so every order carries its source into the "order source" report.
- Test the headline
Version B changes the headline, the line under it or the button text. Visitors are split half and half, each stays on their version for thirty days, the confidence in the leader appears once each version has thirty visitors, and cancelled orders do not count. You declare the winner, and its words are written into the page.
An order from the page is an ordinary store order: it lands in the orders panel, the buyer gets the WhatsApp confirmation if your WhatsApp Business number is connected to the bot and the confirmation template is approved by Meta, and it ships with your courier. What it does not do: there is no mode that turns the whole store into one page; the store stays a catalogue, and each product gets its own landing page. See the live stores on the six templates.
Frequently asked questions
"How do I make a landing page for a product?" — how do I build a single-product landing page without a developer?
Start from the product itself: photos showing it in use, a price, and a quantity offer if it suits. Then write the sections in the order this guide gives and put the order form near the top. On ArabyBot Store you switch the landing page on from the product page, and the AI writes a first draft of the sections for you to review before saving.
Do I need a full store to make a landing page?
On ArabyBot Store a landing page is part of a store: every product has its own. The store can be small — a single product if you like — and it opens to shoppers once it has a visible product, a shipping zone and a payment method. There is no mode that turns the whole store into one page.
Does the same landing page work for TikTok and Snapchat ads?
Yes. The page is the same and the link differs: give each platform's link its own source tag (utm_source) and every order shows where it came from. It works with the TikTok Pixel plus its server-side Events API, and with the Snap Pixel from the browser.
"When does the order count?" — when do I treat an order as confirmed?
When the shopper taps «confirm» on the WhatsApp message, or when you confirm it after a call. Until then it is a new order that has not proved itself: print no waybill for it, and do not report it to the ad as a purchase if you chose to report at confirmation.
Can I take online payment from the landing page?
Yes — enable a payment gateway on your own account and contract, and the payment choice appears inside the same form. You can give card or transfer payers a discount you set, capped at 50%, because an order paid upfront is not refused at the door.
How many products should a landing page show?
One. If you want a bigger order, get it from the same product with a quantity offer ("two for a price"), not from other products that open the door to hesitation. The pricing is in the quantity offers guide.
