How do I create a WhatsApp message template and submit it to Meta for approval in ArabyBot?

The steps in the ArabyBot dashboard

1. Open the templates page

   In the sidebar open "WhatsApp Tools" → "Templates", then press "New Template" (create a template and submit it to Meta for approval).

2. Fill in the basics

   In the "Basics" step pick the "WhatsApp Number" and the "Template Type" (such as Standard or Carousel), type the "Template Name" in lowercase letters, digits and underscores, and choose the "Language" and the "Category": Utility for order confirmations and alerts, or Marketing for offers.

3. Write the content

   In "Content" choose a "Header" if you want one (text, image, video or document, uploaded to Meta directly), write the "Body" with variables {{1}}, {{2}} in order, fill in "Sample values for variables", and add a "Footer" if you like.

4. Add the buttons

   In the "Buttons" step choose "Quick Replies" (up to three buttons) or "Call to Action": a link button, a phone button, and a copy-coupon-code button for Marketing templates only.

5. Review and submit

   In "Review" check the preview and press "Submit for Approval". The page notes that Meta usually approves within 24 to 48 hours, and the template status updates in the list by itself.

6. Track the status

   The list shows "Under review", "Approved" or "Rejected". For a rejected one open "View details" to see the rejection reason, then "Edit" and submit again. To import templates already in your account press "Sync with Meta".

What you should know

• The form offers two categories, Utility and Marketing. Authentication templates (login codes) are not created here; they have a separate OTP service.
• The system checks before submitting: a name of up to 60 lowercase letters, digits and underscores, a body of up to 1024 characters, variables in sequence from {{1}} with no gaps, no variables in the footer, and no emoji in the body of a Utility template.
• Header media uploads straight to Meta: JPG or PNG images up to 5 MB, MP4 video up to 16 MB, and PDF files up to 100 MB.
• The languages offered in the form are Arabic and English.
• An approved template cannot be edited; editing is open for rejected templates or those still under review. For any change after approval, create a new template.
• Approval is Meta's decision alone, and the number of templates you can create follows your package limit.
